Towergate Coverex now have a stronger presence within the CII Council

Towergate Coverex are pleased to announce that Claims Manager, Martin Damerum has become a CII Council Member ensuring a strong Towergate voice within the South East Institute.

Martin has been involved with the institute as an exam invigilator for some time so it was a natural progression to become a council member. As the only ‘Claims’ Council Member within the South East, Martin can champion this essential part of the business.

Martin adds ‘Claims are not always at the forefront of insurance as lots of companies are more concerned with sales. I believe that an effective claims service is extremely important as it can often make or break a relationship with a customer and can have a massive impact on renewal figures.’

‘To me it’s like buying a car. It can be easy to be sold a car but if it goes wrong and the service you receive is poor then it is unlikely you will go back for another vehicle. My involvement with the council will further demonstrate that Towergate employ a high standard of insurance professionals who believe in the quality of service they provide their customers.’
